Physical Therapist (Full-Time)

Unlike corporate volume-driven clinics, we spend quality one-on-one time with each patient. Wilmington Physical Therapy & Wellness is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist who believes in putting patient health first! We focus on patient recovery outcomes rather than rigid billing productivity targets.

Essential Clinical Functions

• Evaluate patients and establish individualized care plans incorporating therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Review medical records, diagnostic imaging, and physician notes to select optimal therapeutic interventions and orthotic/assistive devices.
• Document evaluations, daily progress notes, and re-evaluations accurately in our modern EMR system.
• Re-evaluate patient progress periodically and adapt clinical treatment goals as mobility and functional status evolve.
• Coordinate treatment plans directly with referring physicians and clinical colleagues.
• Empower patients and families through targeted home exercise programs (HEPs) and injury prevention guidance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Active or eligible Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Delaware (Required).
• Experience: Open to passionate New Grads as well as Experienced Clinicians.
• Certifications: Current CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Visa: H-1B Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
• Commute: Able to reliably commute to our clinic in Wilmington, DE 19808 (Kirkwood Highway).
