How Neurological Physical Therapy Helps
Treatment focuses on improving the skills that matter most to everyday life. Your therapist may work with you on walking, balance, coordination, strength, posture, transfers, motor control, and functional mobility.
Therapy may include task-specific training, therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, neuromuscular re-education, coordination exercises, and strategies to make daily movements safer and more efficient.
A Functional Approach to Recovery
Neurological rehabilitation is not one-size-fits-all. Your physical therapist evaluates how your condition affects movement and daily function, then develops a treatment plan based on your current abilities and personal goals.
As you progress, therapy is adjusted to continually challenge your movement, build confidence, and support greater independence.
What to Expect
Your first visit includes a comprehensive evaluation of your movement, strength, balance, coordination, gait, functional abilities, and specific concerns. Your therapist will use these findings to establish an individualized treatment plan and measurable goals.
Progress is monitored throughout your care so your program can evolve as your abilities improve.
Your Goals. Your Progress. Your Independence.
